Sport Accuracy focuses on accuracy and controlled landings using a Sport Canopy, not to be confused with Classic Accuracy which uses Parafoil Canopies. The full Sporting Code explains all rules and requirements. Below is a copy of the Sport Accuracy diagram from the Sporting Code which gives a very good visual explanation of Sport Accuracy. The great thing about this competition is that whilst it will help you to improve your accuracy, there is also a focus on landing in a safe, controlled manner and it is appropriate for A licence and above. You will also learn a great deal about exit order and landing patterns which is another important skill to use at any dropzone.

Don't forget Sport Accuracy is also coming up at the Style and Accuracy Nationals Friday 17th – Tuesday 21st 2011 at Port Macquarie. Please check out the website for the 50th Style and Accuracy Nationals at http://50thaustraliansyleaccuracychamps.ning.com/ . It would be ideal to run these competitions on a more regular basis with the outlook to put a bid in for a NSW State Level Competition. Again, please refer to the full Sporting Code for more information or contact penelope@skydivers.com.au or Robbo cooncat1@bigpond.com for questions. This is a great fun event so please get involved and encourage your fellow jumpers to do the same.
